Delicious Black Forest ham and beef: I felt like I had entered a gourmet paradise when I tasted their homemade Black Forest ham and beef. It was so flavorful and tender, it melted in my mouth like a savory symphony. I couldn't resist purchasing some to bring home as a tasty souvenir.
Impersonal reception: Unfortunately, the initial reception left a bit to be desired.

We stayed here for 4 nights to visit the Triberg Christmas market and really enjoyed our time. The apartment was warm, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a beautiful view of the valley from our balcony and the bedroom. It was easy to relax as you felt at home, either using the kitchen or watching TV in the living room. Breakfast was well worth the 10 euro, with everything fresh and delivered right to our table! The owners were very pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. Great place to stay while enjoying the Black Forest - we will stay here again.
Recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect for adventure-seeking teens like us. We went skiing and horse riding, and even tried our hand at cycling. It was all so exhilarating! The best part was that we got a discounted rate because we were a group of young party-goers. We had an absolute blast!
If there was one thing we could've asked for, it would be more late-night activities for us young party animals. We would have loved some late-night bonfires or maybe even a small disco party.

The location was perfect for us to hit the slopes and go skiing. We also had a blast horse riding and cycling around the area. The best part was that there were so many activities for us young party-goers. We couldn't ask for a better vacation!
The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene nearby. We wanted more options for dancing and partying with other young people.

The rooms at Blumbauernhof are absolutely charming, with a country-style feel and traditional Black Forest decor. I felt like I was stepping into a cozy, rustic retreat. I loved how some rooms had a seating area where I could just relax and unwind after a day of exploring Gutach. It was the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The apartment I stayed in had a kitchenette, which was really convenient. I could prepare simple meals and snacks whenever I wanted, adding to the homely atmosphere. The patio with mountain views was a real highlight for me. Waking up to the panoramic sight of the mountains was truly breathtaking and made my stay even more memorable.
Personally, I would have preferred if the apartment had a washing machine. However, I understand that some guests might not need it or prefer to use laundry facilities elsewhere.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. We also enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views from our room.
The poor wifi connection, which made it difficult to stay connected. the lack of a fan or air-con made the room quite hot and it was a challenge to keep flies out.
